First of all I would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!! To most people it's the time to give and for most children the time to receive some presents. Of course they wouldn't think that it's their parents that would put their presents under the Christmas tree. It would be none other than the wonderful Santa Claus which is also known as Saint Nicholas or Father Christmas.

However, when I went for dim sum a few weeks ago with some of my old schoolmates Wan Shin told me something quite interesting. Her friends tried to prove that Santa Claus does not exist through some scientific reasoning. For those of you who used to believe that Santa exists, and some of you who still do, here are some facts. enjoy. =)

1. There are no known species or reindeer that can fly. But since there are plenty of unknown organisms yet to be discovered, there would probably be flying reindeers. We just haven't discovered them yet. So one point for Santa and zero for Science.

2. There are about 2 billion children (under 18) in the world, and increasing. But since Santa doesn`t appear to handle Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist and Jewish children, that reduces the workload to 15% of the total- 378 million or so. At an average rate of 3.5 children per household, that's 91.8 million homes. That's if there is at least one good child in every house.

3. Santa has 31 hours of Christmas to work with at maximum, thanks to time zones and the rotation of the earth, assuming he travels east to west. This works out to 822.6 visits per second. This is to say that for each Christian household with good children, Santa has 1/1000th of a second to park, hop out of the sleigh, jump down the chimney, fill the stockings, distribute the remaining gifts under the tree, eat the snacks, get back up the chimney, get back in the sleigh, and move on to the next house. What a workout, but he's still described as 'overweight'?

4. Assuming that each of these 91.8 million homes are distributed evenly (which we know to be false but for the sake of these calculations we will accept) we are now talking about 1.3km per household, a total trip of 119.34 million km, not counting bathroom stops. How he can hold his bladder wei, if he has to eat the cookies and drink a glass of milk for every house he visits.

5. This means that Santa`s sleigh is traveling at 650 miles per second, 3000 times the speed of sound. For comparison, the fastest man made vehicle, the space probe Helios 2 moves at a poky 67kmph; the average reindeer runs at 25kmph.

6. Assuming that each child gets nothing more than a medium sized Lego set (2 pounds), the sleigh is carrying 321,300 tons, not counting Santa, who is invariably described as overweight. On land, conventional reindeer can pull no more than 300 pounds. Even granting that "flying reindeer" (see point one) could pull TEN TIMES the usual amount, we can not do the job with 8 or even 9 as we would normally see in pictures. We need about 214,000 reindeer. This increases the weight, not even counting the sleigh, to 353,430 tons.

7. A mass of 353,000 tons traveling at 650 miles per second creates enormous air resistance. This will heat the reindeer in the same manner as a spacecraft reentering the earth's atmosphere. The lead pair of reindeer will absorb 14.3 QUINTILLION joules of energy. Per second. Each. This is for you Physics people.

8. In short, they will burst into flame almost instantaneously, exposing the next pair of reindeer, and creating deafening sonic booms in their wake. So much for giving presents to children quietly. The entire team will be vaporized within 4.26 thousands of a second. If that's the case, Santa would be totally burnt up even before he leaves the North Pole.

9. Santa, meanwhile, will be subjected to centrifugal forces 17,500.06 times the force of gravity. A 300 pound Santa would be pinned to the back of his sleigh by 4,315,015 pounds of force. Again for you Physics people, you'll know what this means. =p

So that's why Santa Claus does not exist. But if you still believe that he exists, then he might be. At the same time I would also like to wish my friend Leow Li Ying a very Happy Birthday. It's been over a year since we've had a really nice conversation like what we used to. I know I've made some foolish mistakes in the past and yes I do regret them. But to me you'll always be a friend, a friend unlike any other who cannot be replaced by anyone. So, Happy Birthday. =)

Ahoy There Matey!!!

As a kid,what's the first thing that will come into your mind when it comes to pirates? Most probably it'll be a hook as your hand, an eyepatch, a stick for a leg and so forth. But what about show's related about pirates? I'm sure most of us would have seen Peter Pan with Captain Hook and his men. To be honest, I can't really remember much about this character except that he is always trying to capture Peter Pan but always fail to do so.

If traveling across the seven seas is not your type, then how about traveling across the galaxy? That's Treasure Planet, a Disney animated version of "Treasure Island". It's certainly a very unique perspective when it comes to looking at pirates. It's certainly more that you're average pirate movie of men with a map trying to look for a giant 'X' on an island.

However in 2003, the release of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl was such a big hit. Who can forget the main character, Captain Jack Sparrow played by Johnny Depp, who is just hilarious but ~~serious~~ cunning at the same time.

Though Captain Barbossa was the antagonist in the first movie, he soon became an ally after he 'died'. That role was then taken by none other than Davy Jones, the man appointed by Calypso to ferry the dead to the next world.

At the end of the third movie, it is seen that Jack Sparrow is sailing from Tortuga using a ~~sampan~~ small boat to find the Fountain of Youth. So there's bound to be another movie right? No doubt about it.

This time, the journey of Jack Sparrow continues as he searches for the mystical Fountain of Youth. Meeting a woman from his past(Penélope Cruz) and the feared Blackbeard, it's definitely a must watch movie eventhough I'm in Upper 6 next year. It also seems that Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley would not reprise their roles as William "Will" Turner and Elizabeth Swann. Here's the trailer, enjoy! =)

Guai Lou Curry Noodle?

If you want good food, you gotta find it. That's what I would always say when it comes to food. After all the effort of looking, searching high and low, with growling stomachs and circling around an area till you're dizzy, it's always worth it when you've finally found what you've wanted. Food! Mouth-watering, finger licking good food that's not just delicious but also ~~cheap~~ priced reasonably. For those of you that love to have curry noodle, this is the place for you.

Yes, the name's MC Curry Noodles. The first thing that came into my mind was you guessed it, McDonalds. However, the owner is a man that goes by the name of Mcculloch, hence the name 'MC' on their signage. His grandfather is a Scottish that married a local Chinese. It is common to see a local cooking western dishes but not a foreigner cooking local dishes. If you're having any doubts about his cooking, don't. The shop not only sell curry noodles but also curry chicken rice and pork noodles. As for me, I ordered

Dried Curry Noodles

The portion was not too big, not too small. The gravy was very thick and went well together with a squeeze of lime juice. Together with generous amount of chicken meat, fried shallots, black sauce, it was a very satisfying meal.

This is a cartoon drawn about the shop and it's owner if he were given a Chinese name. You can find it at the shop. The place is usually packed during lunch hours and since it's located at Glenmarie, it's advisable to go early if you want to get a seat. Though it's only my second time there and it's been quite awhile since I've had a meal there, the quality of the food is still as good as always. At just a little over RM5 for a regular size curry noodles and a cup of Teh C Peng, it's really reasonable and I would surely go back for more.

For One More Day

I like to read. No doubt about it. I just don't like reading boring Sejarah textbooks that can get you sleeping faster than sleeping pills. If it was about world history, then it'll be quite good. But Malaysian history? I don't think so. Reading about people running around with keris fighting around, it's just not for me. Most of us would only read these books not because we like them or anything but it's because we have to. I'm sure most of you know the reason why. Maybe some of you might find it interesting or in some cases, hilarious but not for me.

I think I'm quite fussy when it comes to picking a story book. If you want to read a book, go for a book that you'll keep you going. Not to read it for fifteen minutes and chuck it away after that. So most of the time if I were to be at MPH or other bookstores, then I'll most probably be there for quite a while. Not because I'm reading, but picking a book. Such a waste of time right? But that's just me.

Ever since Form 6 started in May, I rarely had the time to read any story books. It's all about studies, studies and more studies. Meeting lots of good friends along the way, just made the journey towards STPM less stressful. Thanks guys. Despite my lack of decision-making skills, one book managed to catch my attention.

Sitting at the very top of the shelf under the Fiction A-Z section in MPH, this book caught my attention. It's a very small book, not very thick. But don't let it's small size impair your judgment. Remember the saying, "you can't judge a book only by it's covers"? Looking at the synopsis only increased my curiosity. From what it says, it's basically a book of a mother and a son. Being a typical Malaysian, the first thing that popped into my head was,

"Waa, a book lidat also can wan ah??"

But in the end I still took the book, went to a seat and start reading as curiosity starts creeping in. From that moment on, I've never regretted reading a book like that. To be more exact, it's about the relationship between a mother and son that stretches over a lifetime and beyond, as in death. The story mainly revolves around the question,

What would you do if you could spend one more day with a lost loved one?

As a person that've made many mistakes in life, there are moments which are filled with guilt and regretting some of the decisions that I've made. This book really brought back memories, makes you think twice about what you're doing and to be more sensitive to the emotions of others. I think it's something that people can relate to, not about the lifestyle of the characters but the decisions made if you're in their shoes. Overall, it's a really good book. Another book that I'd like to read is The Five People You Meet In Heaven by Mitch Albom as well. =)

It was on a cool Monday morning when all of us gathered at Andrian's house to make thing easier for us, since not everyone knows the way there. Some of us gathered at around 7 and relaxed at his house while waiting for the rest to arrive. Just so you know, there are only 12 participants for this camp. Me, Andrian, Robyn, Kelvin, Soo Yin, Wei Wen, Kim Poh, Esther, Fauziah, Yan Lin and her 2 brothers. Since it's held during the holidays, most of us are still sleepy and not used to waking up before 7.

After that all of us went for breakfast at a small mamak shop located at SS15 where the guy who took our order looks strangely similar to one of our classmates, Thiyban.

Though it was on a weekday, there wasn't much traffic jam on the federal highway and we're able to reach the forest reserve with plenty of time to spare before lunch. It is known as Bukit Cahaya Sri Alam Agricultural Park which is the world's first agro-forestry park with flora and fauna stretching for about 1,258 ha.

With mosquitoes surrounding us by the millions we decided to head to the pool to get away from the mosquitoes and also the blistering heat. We managed to play frisbee and swam a few laps at the pool. Andrian have no problem in swimming but ironically he couldn't float vertically. So some of us gave him some advise on floating vertically. As he continued practicing he unknowingly moved towards the deeper end to the pool. Since he couldn't float vertically, his feet would instinctively reach for the base of the swimming pool to keep himself afloat. But that was when he encountered some cramp at his feet. Luckily, Robyn managed to grab hold of Andrian and dragged him smoothly across the pool towards the shallower area. It seems that Robyn's uncle is a lifeguard and had taught him some lifesaving techinques which came in handy for times like these. Keep on practicing Andrian!! We all know you can do it and practice makes perfect. =)

However, with thunder clouds rolling and it started to drizzle, all of us head back to the campsite. Expecting it to be a heavy downpour, we kept all of our bags inside the tents and kept all of our handphones and cameras in zip lock bags to keep them dry. It was about 3 p.m. when we went to a warung which is about a kilometer away for some maggi mee goreng which is very good and cheap considering that it's the only stall with the next one a few kilometers away. This just shows that you can have good food wherever you go. =)

After that we just take a slow walk back towards the campsite just taking in the scenery and also, the mosquitoes. We even managed to stop by at a lake which looks like the perfect place to go fishing. =)

As we reached the campsite, the girls immediately went off to take a shower first and the guys started smoking the area to get rid of the mosquitoes. Also, some of our food were stolen by the local inhabitants of the area, a.k.a. MONKEYS. Flour, ramen noodles, seasoning, garlic, onion and many others were gone. Milo seems to be their all time favourite according to Robyn and Andrian. Robyn, Andrian and Kelvin started to light up the campsite with 3 fluorescent lights thanks to Andrian's extension wire. It seems like a great achievement as it was really getting dark andall of us could use a little light.

However, as we solved the dark problem, another problem cropped up. Bees. They're attracted to the bright lights and also the heat from the fluorescent lights. Chun Yeet accidentally stepped on the bees and was stung. He was screaming and shouting as it was unbearably painful and jumped into the tent. Soo Yin immediately rushed to aid him but unfortunately was stung by a bee at the foot as she stepped into the tent. Andrian and Esther went to find out what's going on. Followed by me, Robyn and Kim Poh. The bees are all over the ground but the couldn't fly as their wings are all wet due to the rain. Esther was going around killing the bees on the floor. Kim Poh and I went to help Soo Yin and Chun Yeet to get rid of the bees in the tent. Robyn and Kim Poh helped to carry Soo Yin to the auditorium nearby while I shone the way. It was already very dark and the pathway is very slippery. Despite all the pain they're in, they still managed to put on a smile. =)

Whenever there is a bee sting, The best way to reduce any reaction to bee venom is to remove the bee stinger. There's no need to scrape off bee stingers, just remove them. It's ok to pull stingers out with your fingers, though pulling them out using tweezers would be much better. The longer bee stingers are allowed to remain in the body, the more severe the reaction will be. Conventional wisdom says to scrape bee stingers away from the skin because pinching the venom sack could push extra venom into the victim. In fact, as quickly as possible. how fast you get the stinger out is much more important than how. After that, just wash the affected area with soap and water. Used ice or cold water for about 10 to 30 minutes after the sting. This is to numb the affected area and reduce the body's allergic response if you're allergic to bee stings.

Dinner was very simple, fried rice cooked with oyster sauce, sausages, eggs, and chicken pieces. Baked beans with eggs and fried chicken marinated with eggs. There's no vegetables for dinner as the monkeys too them away as well. We then just chatted and laze around before it was light out for most of us.

It was cold at night, even without any wind blowing which is something that you'll hardly get it Subang. You can be in a air-conditioned room and you'll still sweat. I don't think that I've slept at all throughout the entire night, just resting my eyes. Can hear people talking and walking around, just too blur to realize what's going on around me. Thankfully I didn't get a face full of toothpaste like Andrian even though I was sleeping right next to him.

The next morning all of us just went and start packing up everything, clothes, cutlery, table and the tents that we never even slept in. We just put all of our stuff back into the cars and went back into the park. We rented bicycles from a stall to cycle around the park and to the 4 seasons building. At that time it was winter, but Soo Yin said it's always having winter and she'd always wanted to enter when it's spring or autumn. Maybe they should change the name to 1 season building.

As we entered the building we just stayed by the door just to cool off at a standard 16 degree Celsius. But further inside, it was a chilling 0.6 degree Celsius. Since my father worked in the ice-cream department, it's seems ok for me as their freezer is at a numbing -25 degree Celsius. To make matters worse, most of us we're wearing just shorts, a T-shirt and slippers there. Before we rented our bicycles I saw a group of girls wearing jackets to cycle around Bukit Cahaya which is very ridiculous thing to do under the blazing sun. When we're at the 4 seasons house, guess what..they're there as well. Guessed they're more prepared than we were.

After leaving the building, we cycled to a walkway which resembles an off road biking trail though Andrian said it's just a very basic one. The walkway leads to a large watchtower which had a very nice view of the lake below and a garden. The steps are very narrow and you've got to be very careful. As we took a break there, Soo Yin spotted a shedded skin of an salamander or lizard between the grooves of the planks of the tower.

Cycling back was a little tiring so we stopped by a warung which Soo Yin likes to have a drink. After a short chit chat, we just cruised down back to the stall to return the bikes and it was quite exhilarating. Soon after that we left the place and headed to McDonalds for lunch back in Subang Jaya. Sorry Soo Yin. ><

Harry Potter

Went to watch Harry Potter with Jian Yao and Re On at Summit before going to Bukit Cahaya. Managed to catch up after not seeing each other for almost a year. Overall, it's quite a nice show though the previous few were kind of boring? But I'll definitely watch part 2 after seeing this one. Just a short post. =)

Food!!

Went to Penang a few days ago for a 3 day 2 night trip to visit my grandma and relatives. As you know Penang is known as a food paradise. Food in Penang is just awesome compared to what they have here in Subang. However, since it's just a 3 day 2 night trip I can't enjoy all the food but there's always next time. Tourists would normally go to place like Gurney Drive to look for good food but I wouldn't go there if I were you. It's just a place for you to eat most of the food available in Penang and the food there's definitely not the best there is.If you want truly delicious and mouth-watering Penang food, then you'll have to search for it. Most of the time if you want to eat a specific food, such as char kuey teow, you'll have to go to a certain stall or kopitiam to have it. Unless you're too lazy to walk or drive in Penang. But where's the fun in that?

Here are some of the delicious food in Penang. Too bad I didn't get to take a picture of most of them since they have a tendency to disappear from the plate and into our stomachs. =/

Land Investing?

Last Saturday, me and my family were invited to an exhibition or preview held by Jardin Smith International, a local company that sells UK land to investors in Singapore and other countries. It's held at One World Hotel at One Utama where I was supposed to go for the hide and seek flashmob organised by Random Alphabets and Unicef in a campaign to raise awareness of child abuse. But in the end, I can't make it because of this event. So sorry guys. Especially to Ai Vee. =(

So upon arrival we were greeted by a client and relationship manager or a salesperson who would explain about how the concept of land investment works. We were also given free food (breakfast and lunch) and RM 100 Parkson vouchers but it's just sort of a gimmick to get you interested. There's also some idle talk before that to get things, and to be honest, they're really smooth talkers. Here's how the concept works:

The company purchases a plot of greenbelt land. This is land that cannot be developed unless it is rezoned (a process known as getting planning permission) by the government.
The land is sub-divided into many smaller plots and sold to investors.
The company retains 25% of the land so that it is also “vested” along with the investors.
The company goes out to apply for planning permission. This process will take many years. As such, this is more of a long term investment. We were told this would take five to ten years at the minimum.
Once planning permission is obtained, the value of the land will rise 5-10 times (from your purchase price) and you can realise your gains when the entire site is sold. In Jardin Smith International’s case, 60% of the owners will have to agree before it can be sold through a voting after the land has been rezoned and after 15 years. But the land must be sold no matter what when it hits the 20 year mark.

They also explain some of the reasons why we should be investing in UK land:

UK has a housing problem and land will only become lesser and lesser. And if I'm not wrong the Government needs to build about 30 million homes by the year 2026.
The price of land has been increasing steadily (About 20-fold in the last 15 years).
2012 Summer Olympics will be held in London and this will have positive effect on the property market.

The plot on offer by Jardin was being sold for about RM 67000. An initial deposit of 10% was required and could be paid by credit card. The balance could be paid by credit card and UOB cardholders could even pay by interest-free 12 months installment plans.

In the end we decided that we're not going to invest for some reasons. But I did get to learn something, which is a good thing. No pictures for this event though. And this will be my last post till I'm back from Penang. Good luck to all SPM candidates also!!! =)

Here's an article that I've just read a few days ago regarding fast food, but after reading it, I think I won't be eating McDonald’s anytime soon. Here's why.

McDonald’s Happy Meal resists decomposition for six months

Vladimir Lenin, King Tut and the McDonald's Happy Meal: What do they all have in common? A shocking resistance to Mother Nature's cycle of decomposition and biodegradability, apparently.

That's the disturbing point brought home by the latest project of New York City-based artist and photographer Sally Davies, who bought a McDonald's Happy Meal back in April and left it out in her kitchen to see how well it would hold up over time. The results? "The only change that I can see is that it has become hard as a rock," Davies told the U.K. Daily Mail.

She proceeded to photograph the Happy Meal each week and posted the pictures to Flickr to record the results of her experiment. Now, just over six months later, the Happy Meal has yet to even grow mold. She told the Daily Mail that "the food is plastic to the touch and has an acrylic sheen to it."

Davies -- whose art has been featured in numerous films and television shows and is collected by several celebrities -- told The Upshot that she initiated the project to prove a friend wrong. He believed that any burger would mold or rot within two or three days of being left on a counter. Thus began what's become known as "The Happy Meal Art Project."

"I told my friend about a schoolteacher who's kept a McDonald's burger for 12 years that hasn't changed at all, and he didn't believe me when I told him about it," Davies told us. "He thought I was crazy and said I shouldn't believe everything that I read, so I decided to try it myself."

Some observers of the photo series have noted that the burger's bun appears at different angles, and therefore aired suspicions that the Happy Meal may not in fact be as "untouched" as the project's groundrules stipulate. Feeling awfully sick today. Went out to KL Yap Ah Loy Temple in the morning to receive blessing for the upcoming finals in November. But after breakfast, that's where all the sickness starts coming. Of all the times that it could have happened. But now I'm suspecting that it's because of the dessert I shared with Ai Vee yesterday after she ate "the bomb". And yes, she's sick. *facepalms*

Wanted to make today a very productive day by finishing chemistry and calling for sponsors, but had the entire day taken away. Head is still throbbing now. It's really been a long time since I've updated this blog. But what can I say? It's either too busy to update it or I really don't have the mood at all. So many people have asked me the same question. How's Form 6? So for those who STILL don't know....Form 6's tough. No doubt about it, and it's gonna be tougher from now on. Can you imagine? Form 5 and SPM last year seems like a piece of cake? Just memorise everything and vomit all of them out in your exams.

Holidays are here and I guess all of us managed to sleep on like nobody's business. But still, it doesn't really feel like we're having a holiday. Assignments, homeworks and essays still not done. So yeah, you get the whole idea. But I'll have time to relax and take my mind of things. Been listening to lots of emo songs lately. =/

After almost a whole week since the camp, I finally had some free time to blog about this awesome camp. This camp is a camp unlike any others. Not a hardcore torture camp definitely. It's more like a camp that teaches us more than just about the environment and stuff like that. With so many activities and presentations, not only that we've gained more knowledge about the environment but we've also managed to be more outspoken, more creative, and so much more. =)

Gonna be really busy this holiday, having chem class since we're so behind compared to other classes. Instead of going at the usual 10 for class, Ai Vee called us to meet up to study at 8.30. We damn semangat. Go there to settle our homework and other stuffs. =)

Camp is coming in around 2 days time!! Bringing some snacks along as well, maybe except kitkat. :)

My primary school friend, was in the same class but too bad that she shifted to another class last week. Such an awesome friend, haven't seen her for 5 years. Gonna miss you lots and hope that you'll get better soon! ;)

It's been a really tiring week. Work piling up, having around 5 hours of sleep everyday, I almost fall asleep in every lesson in class. So many people's gonna leave our class which is kind of depressing. Such awesome friends leaving. Sorry I couldn't go for Jeevan's farewell today at Pyramid.

Class is officially starting tomorrow. Which I think is quite good since it's way better than rotting at home. Last week at school was entirely devoted to nothing but orientation. But it's better than you might think. Get to make lots of new friends, and meeting old one's again after 5 long years. Will be in the bio class taking MUET, bio, chem, maths T and P.A. So it's finally time to get serious about studies again! That's all for now. =)

It's been more than 1 awful week after my surgery. With my surgeon saying - no hard food, only soft diet, drink juices on the 1st day no meat, chicken, fish, vegetables, rice, noodle or whatever food you can think of, i only have very little choice left with food. Only left with 3 main foods:

I managed to enjoy 1 food above all else:

But still, after eating these food anyone will get sick of it. Feels like puking everytime i see mash potatoes. But in the end, learnt a good lesson. Appreciate the food given to you.

As for my surgery, it was cold. Seriously cold. Felt cool after staying in the hospital for a few hours. Much better than the weather outside which is freaking hot. But after a few hours at the hospital your feet will be numb for walking around barefooted. No footwear allowed. When I was pushed into the OT, it feels like throwing you into a freezer. Bloody cold. That's all for now. =)

So sad I have to delay my driving test, again. But going to take it for sure on the 29th. Just came back from Hospital Kuala Lumpur. Such a tiring day, but a very interesting one as well. Get to see some old school friends again and make new one's as well. Going to see a "fresh" corpse first thing in the morning tomorrow. Hope I wouldn't lose my breakfast. Group 3 rocks!! ;)

Haven't touched my blog for so long that it's already dead and rotting here. Yesterday was the day that many of us dread to come, knowing that we'll get to meet up with old friends. =)

Newspaper said that results will be out by 10 but came out more than an hour later. Malaysian timing it seems. Went to pyramid after that by bus since everyone couldn't fit into Thomas's car. Went for lunch and movie. Very simple outing really.

Went and watch Alice In Wonderland after lunch and almost the whole cinema's loaded with 2009 SPM-ers.

So many things to blog about after SPM, but I'll start with what happened after SPM. Went to Penang for over a week right after Chemistry, so can't really go anywhere else. There's nothing much to do in Penang except eating like there's no tomorrow. So here's some of Penang's greatest foods. The best of the best I tell you. =)

Too bad there's so few pictures. Usually dig in into the food before the thought of taking a picture even occurred to me. While I was walking around in Gurney Drive I came across this really cool dude. Just drop any amount of money and he'll pose around for you. Lala pose included. With one exam ending, there comes another one, and I would surely say that many things have changed over the past one month. Thought most of you wouldn't be chilling at home, you'd be studying right? Studying until our eyes want to pop out and sitting till our butt hurts. But still, no choice right? SPM's is less than 50 days away and we kinda like feeling the pressure on us now. Especially after the government changed the grading system.

However, the form 3's are going to take their PMR examinations and the form 4's taking their finals tomorrow. Still remember how it feels like when we're in form 3?totally no stress right?=) But still I just want to wish all of them good luck and all the best!Gambateh!!=D

In the early morning on the 19th of August 2009, Miss Chai the school's Chemistry teacher had just passed away. The new was such a shock for all of us when the news was told to us in Dewan Aulia by Puan Tay and from there on the news just spread like wild fire. Students calling their parents, teachers mourning, reporters everywhere, it's just such a chaos. I would like to send my deepest condolences to Miss Chai's family and may God bless.

Another thing that I've realised is that once the news start spreading, then only the school students started to wear their masks. This just shows that most of the students brought their masks but just couldn't be bothered to wear them. They just gotta wait until something like this have to happen before any of them make a move. Haizzz...

After surfing the net for quite a while, I found a movie that caught my interest. No, this isn't about G.I. Joe: Rise of the Cobra. It's The Final Destination: Rest in Pieces. It's actually a really cool movie. Lots of horror, action, and I guess you could laugh at some of the action. Especially the guy that got his butt sucked inside a swimming pool. I'm preety sure it's going to be a really nice movie anyway. It's release date is on the 28th of August. But I gotta buy DVD since it's so near to trials. Need to study!!!

For those of you that've never watched Final Destination before here's the movie overview(spoiler):

I know this Chinese New Year post is much later than others but what can i do???Having no internet access in Penang is really frustrating since all I have is my handphone and television. So mostly i've been doing nothing but visiting relatives, gambling, and getting lots angpau. Eating at home is also like a must so can't really go out and eat all those hawker food...Though i think it's illegal, me and my cousins have been playing firecrackers almost everynight and the supply seems to never end.........

The first week of school would most definitely be one of those weeks where many people would most probably be sayin stuff like "Eh, today damn sien lor...". But not for some the form 2 and form 4 prefects who are pushed to almost their limits because of the camp. As for the other 18 facilitators, it's a time where we can not only enjoy ourselves but also teach the other prefects more about teamwork though we had to sacrifice our sleeping time.

Okay, moving on...there's gonna be a prefects camp for the Form 4's and also the Form 2 prefects...and the good thing is?we're gonna be the facilitators of the camp!!xD...its going to start tomorrow and end on Sunday.

Just came back from Tanjung. Sorry I didn't get to blog on the first since I was seriously too tired. On the 31st, traveled back from Penang after lunch and the journey took almost 7 hours. It was raining heavily and there was an terrible accident along the way...So reached Subang at around 7 to go to Huey Ling's house for the New Years Party. Supposed to start at around 6:30 but managed to reach there at around 7:45. Syara didn't even tell me that we've gotta bring food if not I could've brought food from Penang man...

Now no mood to post any pictures la...all of them are in Huey Ling's cam...I'll post them after i've got them and if I got time...aih...gotta go to school tomorrow already for the Form 1 Orientation Day...>.<...must wake up early already...zzzzzzzz

My cuz is back again from Jakarta...and my boredom and 'sien-ness' can finally end...because my 5 year old cuz can make anyone in the family laugh....xD...mostly because of her cuteness and the way she 'zha' you back...i mean like...she can sometimes think like an adult...lol...

Sometimes she can be annoying but thats what make her the centre of attraction most of the time...if I recall, there was one time she really annoyed my aunt until the point where she scolded her and this's how it goes...

Seriously, the wayshe said is like......just try to imagine a 5 year old kid saying that...my aunt was even not sure whether to scold her for answering back or laugh at the way she answer back...lol...
So for dinner we went to Victoria Station and booked the front of the train which is very hot and stuffy since there's no air-cond...so lame man...so i ordered some lousy sizzling steak which is not only expensive but also very LOUSY....

my lousy half-burnt steak...

and a small bowl of salad with thousand island dressing and french vinegar...

aih...so lame man...anyway...my aunt brought back 2 layer cakes for us but the tha layer cake costs around RM 200...200 bucks for just a layer cake man!wth...damn expensive wei...and each slice costs RM 10...soooo expensive...

But still, I have to admit that the layer cake tastes much better than the one's here...now moving on to ice-cream!!dad's just brought back a huge box of Haagen Daz ice-cream...gonna eat ice-cream until fat d la...if i can get fat la...xD

finally back from Penang after like almost 3 weeks straight. I mean like its damn boring wei...well...after the 1st week that is. During the 1st week we stayed at the Bayview Beach Hotel...i guess its the same hotel as Li Ying...maybe its because of the jellyfish sign she took...xD

Out of most of the books i've read this series was like one of the best...(i know...many said that these books were like meant for girls...but who say that a guys couldn't read it...lawl)...thanks to someone that've introduced it to me...and lent to me the book...so thanks...After reading like the rest of the books: New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn...the only two books left for me to read are Midnight Sun(Edward's point of view in the story...so it's sort of reading the story again...just differently...xD) and The Host...(a different story compared to the Twilight Series..)

hey...
back to blogging again...so i'll just make a short post about everything's that happened last week. Starting with last Thursday, went out 2 S.P. with Mich...hehe...needed transport so i went with Yee Shin...reached about 10 something and i'm sort of free until her exam finishes so went shopping for presents with Yee Shin and her friends...it seems that everything to them is like..."awww....soooo cute!!!"...later went and meet Mich at the cinema to collect the tickets for HSM 3...i know its like damn late to watch it but i've got reasons...
1. i've already promised 2 watch it with her...^^
and
2. promised 2 wait for half of her exams to finish...lol

our tickets=)

Went and bought hotdogs from 1901 and sneaked them into the cinema...That day's also like everything went 'so ngam 1'...we can like bump into other people in like less than 5 mins...first, we met erm...Ling Yi...i think...and another Mich and Kenneth and their friend when they were like going up the escalator...xD

After the movie we just went and hang out and later went and look for the other Mich and her friends at Waffle World...we also met Shih Jin who works there...he sort of like keeps gving signal that his boss is around so he couldn't really talk to us...

my second post in like 5mins...xD...too sien ady la...
i don't know why...but i just have a feeling that i just gotta post about what happened in school today...so as i arrived at the school gate its like damn obvious that wth...only 2 people at the bus stop...and reason why i went to school???-to return spbt books...=.="-so i just went into the Bilik Pengawas and was *greeted* by Faez as the 8th lucky fella to be at skul...i mean like...wtf...less than 10 people at school...so in the end there's around 30 to 40 students...including prefects that came to school...so what we don't have today????no roll-call, no perhimpunan whatsoever...

all the students were like gathered in one class only...at 1st i thought that *sh*t man...sure damn boring wan*...but i turned preety okay...just one of those freaky days where there are more teachers than students...xD

since there's no tugas...we had like a half an hour recess eating nothing except teacher's food...other than that i was accompanied by Adrian Li, Shaun and Jia Huey...after recess the four of us just went to the library to play Monopoly...Jia Huey said she wants to like trash us in the game but in the end...erm...u know how it ends la...we all like damn futureless wei...play monopoly the whole day ni...as for the other students...if i'm correct they went and make bread in the bilik masakan...wann shin told me...the teacher bought for them the ingredients...

i definitely sure that i'm the last one to post about the prefect honourary night at the Victoria Ballroom which is the same place as last year...erm...last Wednesday...long time ad le...so as usual prefects that are helping in organising the dinner have to be there around 6 or 6:30 compared to the usual 7 p.m.

now its time to talk about what happened last Sunday...we went for the H-Factor Creative Youth Workshop 2008 by Hannah Tan!!!=)...it's held at Best Western Premier Seri Pacific Hotel,KL...

So most of us reached the school at around 8a.m. but as usual...we left probably 30 or 45 mins later...wth...so how to pass the time???talk talk and more talk...see some magic trick by Shawn and see Eu Gene losing in poker...damn kesian man...he wanted to bet 1 sen...xD

Once we reached the hotel, we just daftar diri there and had our bfast...mi goreng and teh tarik...not bad le...seriously...so we finally entered the Pacific Ballroom err...around 10:45 gua...

so we had an awesome performance by Fellest Yan and his friends first and a talk by Serena C and Pietro about "How to be a Radio Announcer"...cannot say DJ, must be pro a bit...xD...after that, we had a talk about music by Reymee Hussein...after that we had our lunch which is only nasi goreng, bihun goreng fried chicken and orange juice...the food ok ok ni la...hahax

After that we had a talk about TV hosting by HANNAH TAN!!!^^...

Later we had a talk from Joey Khor who works at Ubisoft Entertainment about motion graphics...damn yeng man...saw some slides that he did and also a music video he did for Love Me Butch...xD...after that we had Harith Iskandar!!!walao...the way he make you laugh arr...can laugh until stomach pain and 1 2 fall dow from the chair...he talked about some Malaysian CSI, differences between man and women, ringtones and music...hahax...sorry no pics on the speakers...not allowed man...

Hans Isaac then continued about film and acting....but no idea why...the way he talk reminds me of my uncle...lmao...then David Lai the mentalist well showed some tricks...damn kesian man...he like non-stop kena buli by the other fellas...the dude like stressed out wei...but in the end he did showed us 1 awesome trick where he bent the fork and snaped another in half...with his mind le...O.O

Finally, Fellest Yan gave us a talk about dancing which seems to be more of a performance...taught us lots man...he even teached David his to dance...like Trived...XD...Then some of them went and interviewed the speakers before going back home...in the mean time, I managed to take a few shots of them

yesterday on the 31st of October was the last day of my English tution...so far...it's one of the best tutions i've went...no only because the teachers good but also because of the friends there...in the tution there's less than 10 people...but the good thing is that we can forge great friendship among them...no matter how sillt there are...=)

so i'm back again and what happened last tuesday was well...preety okay...my mother's friend booked places for us at the Sunway Resort...so we went for a buffet lunch at the Sun & Surf place...

The food there were just awesome...though there isn't much variety compared to before...here're some pics of the food there...heheh...the food not bad le...

yeah...exams finally over after two torturing weeks...and all of the test are well...tough like hell...last minute study like crazy...but now...all of the stress are over...^^

so what's the first thing you do when exam's over???watch anime and sleep...don't wanna go out yet...want to sleep 1st...lol...
but i still got tution!!aih...add maths, physics n chem...siao wei...until end of november...exam over still got class...but got no choice la...teacher said its for next year...aih...just now in tution i thought sure damn sien wan...but its damn crappy wei...one of my fren brought some heavy-duty baton to class...said later kena kidnap when walking home...the batons like the one's the police use man...only extendable...lol...we just call it his "stick"...u know wat it means la coz he's hiding it from the teacher by putting it between his legs...and since its damn long around the lenght of your entire arm...well u know la...xD...

aih...dats all for now la...gonna go out 2 eat at mamak...hehe...now exams over can start blogging ady...zzzzzzzzz...
